Jason vs. the Green Ranger in the Dark Dimension, Hand-Signed 8x10 by Austin St. John

The Dark Dimension. Inside the green suit was one of my favorite stunt guys, Hien Nguyen, a great martial artist and stunt performer. Hien and I choreographed this fight together, and it was all very real. I had no stunt double for this fight.

We shot it extremely late at night at the Culver City studio, and we went at it a long time from many angles so you could feel the heat and the danger. A secret: the cage in the background was flimsy PVC pipe plugged into Styrofoam pillars, made to look strong. In the episode I'm thrown, forward-roll and hit the cage. Watch closely and you'll see it move. I was trying not to kick that side out!

There was a fog machine off camera for creepiness, and the crew spent a lot of time setting lights and shadows to make a bright, cheery show look dark and ominous. I sign every copy personally.
